Manage unlimited WordPress sites from one dashboard.

Site Overview

Dashboard View

Access all connected sites at WordPress section:

  • Site name and URL
  • Connection status (green/yellow/red)
  • Last published date
  • Total published posts
  • Quick actions menu

Status Indicators

Green (Healthy):

  • Site is online and accessible
  • Plugin is active and updated
  • API connection working
  • Response time < 2 seconds

Yellow (Warning):

  • Slow response time (2-5 seconds)
  • Plugin needs update
  • High server load
  • Check hosting performance

Red (Critical):

  • Site unreachable
  • Connection failed
  • Plugin deactivated
  • API authentication error

Site Management

Adding New Sites

  1. Click Connect New Site
  2. Enter site details:
    • Site name (for your reference)
    • WordPress URL (with HTTPS)
    • Site description (optional)
  3. Download and install plugin on WordPress site
  4. Copy API key and configure plugin
  5. Test connection
  6. Save

Editing Site Details

  1. Click Edit on any site
  2. Update:
    • Site name
    • Description
    • Default category
    • Default tags
    • Featured image settings
  3. Save changes

Removing Sites

  1. Click Delete on site
  2. Confirm removal
  3. Site disconnected from ContentAI
  4. WordPress plugin remains but inactive
  5. Can reconnect anytime

Publishing Options

Direct Publishing

Publish content immediately:

  1. Generate or edit content
  2. Select target WordPress site
  3. Click Publish Now
  4. Content goes live within 30 seconds

Publishing Settings

Configure per site:

Post Status:

  • Publish (live immediately)
  • Draft (save for manual review)
  • Pending (awaits approval)

Author Assignment:

  • Default WordPress user
  • Specific author
  • Rotate between authors

Categories:

  • Auto-assign default category
  • Choose category per post
  • Create new categories automatically

Tags:

  • Auto-generate from keywords
  • Manual tag selection
  • Tag limit per post

Featured Images:

  • Upload from URL
  • Use first content image
  • Skip featured image
  • Generate with AI (coming soon)

Multi-Site Publishing

Publish to Multiple Sites

  1. Generate content
  2. Click Publish to Multiple
  3. Select target sites (unlimited)
  4. Configure settings per site
  5. Click Publish All
  6. Track status for each site

Site Groups

Create site groups for bulk operations:

  1. Go to WordPressGroups
  2. Click Create Group
  3. Name group (e.g., “Client A Sites”)
  4. Select sites to include
  5. Save group

Publish to Group:

  • Select group instead of individual sites
  • One-click publishing to all group sites
  • Consistent settings across group

Health Monitoring

Connection Testing

Test site connections:

  1. Click Test Connection on any site
  2. System checks:
    • Site accessibility
    • Plugin status
    • API authentication
    • Response time
  3. View detailed results

Monitoring Dashboard

View site health metrics:

  • Uptime: Last 30 days uptime percentage
  • Response Time: Average API response
  • Error Rate: Failed publish attempts
  • Last Successful Publish: Timestamp
  • Plugin Version: Current vs latest

Alerts and Notifications

Enable in SettingsNotifications:

  • Site goes down (red status)
  • Slow response time (yellow status)
  • Plugin needs update
  • Failed publish attempts
  • Weekly health summary

Bulk Operations

Available Actions

Select multiple sites and:

  • Test All Connections: Batch connectivity test
  • Update Settings: Apply same settings to all
  • Publish Content: Send same post to all
  • Export Site List: Download as CSV

Bulk Testing

  1. Select sites (or “Select All”)
  2. Click Bulk Test
  3. Wait for results
  4. View pass/fail status for each
  5. Fix failed connections

Advanced Settings

Custom Post Types

For WordPress sites with custom post types:

  1. Edit site settings
  2. Go to Advanced tab
  3. Enter custom post type slug
  4. Save
  5. Select custom post type when publishing

Custom Fields

Support for Advanced Custom Fields (ACF):

  1. Enable Custom Fields in site settings
  2. Map ContentAI fields to ACF fields
  3. Configure field types
  4. Values populate automatically

  • Categories

  • Custom taxonomies
  • Hierarchical terms

Configure mapping in site settings.

Publishing History

View Published Content

Per-site publishing history:

  1. Click site name
  2. Go to History tab
  3. View all published posts
  4. Filter by date, status, author
  5. Click any post to view on WordPress

History Data

  • Post title and excerpt
  • Publish date and time
  • WordPress post ID
  • Status (published/failed)
  • Credits used
  • AI model used
  • Edit/delete actions

Analytics Per Site

Track performance metrics:

  • Total posts published
  • Average word count
  • Publishing success rate
  • Credits consumed
  • Most used categories/tags

Troubleshooting

Common Issues

“Plugin Not Found”

  • Install ContentAI Pro plugin on WordPress
  • Activate the plugin
  • Refresh connection in dashboard

“Authentication Failed”

  • Regenerate API key
  • Update in WordPress plugin settings
  • Test connection again

“Publishing Failed”

  • Check WordPress user permissions
  • Verify post type exists
  • Check for plugin conflicts
  • Review WordPress error logs

“Slow Response Time”

  • Check hosting server performance
  • Disable unnecessary plugins
  • Optimize WordPress database
  • Consider upgrading hosting

  2. System generates diagnostic report
  3. Submit ticket with report attached
